Amendment to the By-Laws of the City of Winchester Pipes & Drums, Inc.

Policy VII. Membership Dues

Members in good standing will be assessed dues on a monthly basis from September through June (10 months per year). The rate for said dues will be established by the Executive Committee.

Proceeds from dues will be used to offset operating costs of the band as well as the cost of musical instruction and any other expenses which are deemed appropriate by the Executive Committee.

Dues will be payable by the last practice of each month.

Members may be disqualified from participation in band performances or rehearsals if dues are in arrears. Disqualification from participation in performances or rehearsals will be at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

Dues will not be required of recruits until they have achieved the status of “member in good standing”.
